About Kika Nazareth:

One of the main references in women's football, Francisca Nazareth, aka Kika, was born in Lisbon on 17 November 2002. Unlike her father, who was a rugby player, she has always shown an irreducible passion for football.

At the age of 9, she started playing Futsal at Clube Futebol os Torpedos and immediately showed a special gift for the sport. This resourcefulness exploded at the age of 14 at Benfica, shining there since the club first opened its doors to women's football. She made her debut in the first team at the age of 16 and left her mark right away by scoring a goal.

At just 21 years old, she became the main protagonist in the recent history of women's football in Portugal: best player and best scorer of the League; four consecutive Portuguese League titles; four League Cups; two Super Cup; one Portuguese Cup; Top 10 shortlist for the Italian Golden Girl Award that distinguishes the best U21 female player; European Championship 2022; major role in qualifying Portugal for the FIFA Women’s World Cup 2023 in Australia and New Zealand, where, in the final phase of the tournament, she managed to be the youngest ever, in terms absolute, scoring for the Portuguese team in a World Cup (20 years, 8 months), beating the previous record set by Cristiano Ronaldo (21 years, 4 months).

Being considered one of European football's brightest talents, Kika arrived at the giant Barcelona in July 2024, where she has already won a Spanish Super Cup. The right place to continue showing all her passion and magic. Her football is an exact mirror image of herself: unpredictable, joyful, lively, fun, exciting, pure, creative, magical, spontaneous, brilliant, and happy. Everything is expected of her on the pitch, and she can do anything. The present is hers, and so is the future.
